Kia Ora and Welcome to Glenmoor Primary School

Glenmoor students do really well because everyone knows each other. Part of the reason for this is that Glenmoor is a small school so it is less intimidating for children to settle in. Everyone knows each other and looks out for eachother. The older students automatically look out for the younger ones. When every teacher knows every child and their personal backgrounds and behaviours it creates the supportive existance of an extended family. With smaller classes and positive teachers the school is able to provide better individual attention and develops self confidence from an early age.

Our teachers are renowned for being extremely approachable. An open door policy operates whereby parents and students can easily talk to the Principal and teachers. Parents report that the staff are lovely and that the atmosphere at the school is wonderful with lots of positive things going on. It’s a happy place to be with a good balance of academic and social development.
